David Riddel

Toronto guitarist and composer David Riddel is a versatile and in-demand musician. Since graduating from the University of Toronto in 2016, he has toured and recorded with some of Canada’s most notable musicians. He boasts a vast repertoire of rock, jazz, blues and folk, and he transcends genre with his adept improvisation and soulful tone.

David has released original albums with art-rock outfits The Consonance and Delusions of Grandeur. His second album as leader of avant-garde/chamber jazz outfit Dr. Purgatory is expected in late 2024.

David is a passionate and experienced teacher with over 8 years of experience teaching all styles, ages and skill levels.
