Guitar Setups and Repair

Did you know that Mint Music offers full service guitar setup and repairs for acoustic and electric guitars, basses, ukuleles and mandolins at our 116 Bond Street Location. These services are performed by our very own highly experienced guitar setup and repair technicians offering amazing service and same day turnaround times! As you may know all instruments need regular maintenance and service to remain in top playing condition. With guitar, basses and other stringed instruments it is even more critical and these instruments should be serviced at least twice a year. Our in-person guitar setup and repair technicians will be at our 116 Bond Street location at the following dates and times during the summer months. For simple setups and repairs we offer same day service but you must RSVP in advance and the first 4 people to do so will get their guitar by the end of the technician’s shift. Please remember we must receive payment in full before you take your guitar home. You can also drop your guitar off at the school Monday to Friday from the hours of 10 AM – 8:30 PM but do phone ahead to let us know you are coming so we know when to expect you. Our guitar technician will look at your guitar and begin work on it the next day he/she is in.

To reserve your spot for same day turnaround for simple guitar setups and repairs please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

Spots are filled on a first come first serve basis on the next guitar setup and repair service day. Remember if you wish to pick up your guitar the same day it is serviced you must pay for the repair prior to taking it home. We accept email transfer, cash, VISA and all major credit cards.

Emergency Rush Service and Repair: We do offer rush service and repairs for clients that need it. Please call 416-707-1077 for more details.

While most guitar repair shops have turnaround times ranging from two weeks to a month, we’ve streamlined the process for you.

For Mint Music students and clients, we’ve gone the extra mile by ensuring our skilled guitar technicians are available throughout the week, from Monday to Sunday, right here at the school. By reserving your guitar setup or repair ahead of time, you can rest assured that your instrument will be ready by the end of your lesson or session.

To further facilitate your experience, we offer loaner guitars, ukuleles, or basses while your instrument undergoes restoration, ensuring minimal disruption to your practice or performance.
